MEET THE DJ’S

EVO BREATH

The evo breath, is a pranayama breath technique variation of the Wim Hof breath. The evo breath Increases the amount of oxygen in your blood while facilitating the release of toxins, boosting your immune system, calming anxiety, improving sleep quality, improving cardiovascular and lung health, and many other benefits.

The evo breath is 30 powerful breaths, in and out through the mouth. The in-breath is as deep as you can possibly bring it in, and the exhale is softer, just about a third of the inhale. So 30 breaths in and out, then you’ll take a deep inhale for 5 seconds, and then arch your head back and exhale completely. Keep your back flexed and your head arched back while you hold the breath out. When you’ve held the breath out as long as possible, take a deep inhale and hold it in as long as possible, flexing your entire body. When you’ve held it in as long as possible, exhale in a big ‘UH HUH’ as if you’re saying YES to the Universe, and release your body, relaxing completely into normal breath.

At this point you’ll possibly be shaking and vibrating. It’s nothing to be alarmed about. Have fun with it! Repeat as much as you like.
